Of course, the FIT or TIFF at those levels that it creates may or may not work in my other software as I found out. Has wavelets, deconvolution, etc as well as 32 bit FIT and 96 bit TIFF among other things. Sort of awkward to use, but if adjusted properly it can nearly mask out all of the ringing without compromising appearance too much. If I stuck with gaussian, I could also make them somewhat disappear by adjusting denoise, sharpen and also the slider for layer 1. ![]() I found that if I went back to default instead of gaussian, the rings didnt show but then again this was from 32 bit fits created in Autostakkert. Makes me wonder if it is Registax 6 Frustrating, especially after a real good focused session of frames. However, if I first stack in Autostakkert, the rings are greatly reduced when wavelets then applied. Registax 6 seems to bring in bad rings on wavelet use and videos of this type (underexposed). ![]() ![]() ![]() I dont know for certain, but planets I processed from that time didnt seem to have them. Use Registax 6 Software Processing Solution.
